Trents Ashbourne garage. This building in Alfreton used to be the bus wash for the Midland General garage in the town, later owned by Trent. The original Trent garage in Alfreton. the back of Belper garage. the entrance (ramp) where the red doors are is no longer used. Conrete bollards have been placed in front of this. Parts of the old destination signs can be made out above the doors, Tesco now stands on the site of the former Trent garage at Ilkeston. Midland General acquired the garage with the Tansey & Severn bussiness in April 1929. Trent closed the garage on 3rd Septemeber 1977. Another section of the Underwood garage, which is sited opposite the building in the other photo. Mansfield Westgate garage closed in October 1984. Trent moved, to what is the current Stagecoach depot around the corner on Sutton Rd, where they shared the premises. This came to an end when trent opened the Sutton Junction garage in 1993. Trent used to out-station buses on this land, next to Hope Railway Station. t is now dis-used. The site was only used for a period in 1987. What I *think* was the former Castleton garage owned by Trent! The small premises were closed in 1979, when trent took on another garage in nearby Bradwell. The former Trent outstation used by Trent. It was acquired from National Travel in 1979. It replaced the Castleton base. The building was sold in 1984, but buses continued to be parked in the grounds until around 2 years ago. Although Trent stopped using the premises around 2 years ago, the Trent buses, and Barton sign remains. The site of the former Trent garage on Albert St in Derby (M&S goods entrance). The former Trent workshops on Uttoxeter Rd Trents first garage on the spot. Meadow Roads B garage The Meadow Rd bus wash C garage at Meadow Rd (mainly used by Derby Community transport).
